WEBSITE LAUNCHING MAY 2026!
Bright Horizons Learn & Play Inc. (BHLP) is a KW community hub offering public services and resources for primarily children with disabilities and/or specific needs and their families. BHLP will provide three primary services: a learning centre, public sensory playcentre, and community outreach services. BHLP’s services are designed to support the growing number of children with disabilities and/or high behavioural support needs, who cannot access mainstream education or play spaces.
The specialized day program is run by highly trained, experienced professionals (Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Behavioural Therapists, registered Ontario College of Teacher educators, and Early Childhood Educators) who will create individualized development plans with a focus on life skills, academics, and social-emotional learning, in collaboration with each child and their family.
BHLP will have an Inclusive Hiring and Work Skills program to hire people with disabilities to manage the playcentre, to create equitable job opportunities for marginalized youth and adults in KW. Bright Horizons’ service delivery has an accessible, comprehensive, and innovative approach, and works in conjunction with KW Habilitation and the SNAP (Special Needs Access Point) program, along with other curriculums and programs (i.e. Ontario Rainbow Curriculum, ABA, etc.).
